) Choose server type according to the number of input channels supported:

o “Low-performance server” – 12 channels in 4CIF@RT@ 3Mb/s

o “Mid-performance server” – 24 channels in 4CIF@RT @ 3Mb/s

o “High-performance server” – 42 channels in 4CIF@RT @ 3Mb/s

o "VA performance server" supporting up to 26 ENT channels and 24 VA channels in CIF@HRT

) The above refers to the number of simultaneous input channels, while monitoring 30% and playback 20% of the

input channels

o If the percentage of monitors or playbacks is different than aforementioned, then the number of input

channels is automatically calculated by the Quotator

) There is no need to certify servers with platforms as defined in the "Low performance server and storage minimal

requirements" designed to be configured with up to 40 channels recording at less than 5MB/s

) It is highly recommended to utilize UPS for protecting the mission critical application server. Recommended

model - APC Back-UPS CS 500

) Please consult with your system integrator or installer regarding the specific UPS model which will support the
